When Someone You Love Is Struggling, You Don’t Have To Figure It Out Alone

When a loved one is facing mental health challenges, substance use, or untreated trauma, the whole family feels it. You feel exhausted, worried, and are unsure of what to do next. You may have already tried everything you know to do.

Ironwood Consulting and Care Management helps families in Georgia, and nationwide, find a clear, steady path forward. Katie Jones, LCSW, CTP-II and her team of experienced clinicians, have decades of combined experience guiding families through every stage: understanding what’s happening, navigating the crisis, choosing the right level of care, coordinating aftercare, and building a foundation for long-term recovery.

We believe in whole family system support, and whole family system healing. When the family heals together, recovery has room to last.

Our Story

At Ironwood, nothing we do is by accident. Every conversation, every recommendation, and every step we take with you is intentional and carefully considered, and it is always guided by one question: What is truly best for your family? We know that when you reach out to us, you're trusting us with the people you love most. We take that trust seriously, and we honor it with patience, clarity, and genuine care.

That commitment is at the heart of our name.

Our founder, Katie, comes from a long line of woodworkers. Growing up, Katie learned that good work can't be rushed. You study the grain, you measure carefully, and you build with purpose, because what you create is meant to last. That same craftsmanship shapes how we care for the families we serve.

Among woodworkers, ironwood is known as one of the hardest and most enduring woods there is. Its strength comes from slow, steady growth. In the harsh conditions of the desert, the ironwood tree also serves as a nurse tree. Its shade and shelter give young plants a safe place to take root, grow strong, and eventually stand on their own. That's what Ironwood means to Katie: honoring her family's legacy of careful, lasting craftsmanship while offering yours a steady, protective presence in a difficult season, and a safe place where healing can take root and grow.
